My thoughts and insights about Kochi, Japan

It is indeed a wonderful opportunity for me to visit Kochi, Japan. To know
and learn their custom, tradition and way of life are such a great experience.
It is also a great experience to see wonderful places such as shrines, and tourist
spots to name a few. It brought me different views, thoughts and insights in mind.
My first month of stay in Kochi, Japan makes me speechless for I cannot understand
their language and even their lifestyle. It is also unusual for me to experience
different things such as bowing, greet a person every time you meet saying Ohayo
gozaimasu, Konnichiwa to name a few. But as I went along with my training and
slowly understand about their language makes it more interesting. Much more when
I learn and know more about them such as peace loving, friendly, respectful, and
kind people as I was able to adjust on their lifestyle. It makes my stay enjoyable
and worth memorable.
Furthermore, My training in Nankoku Technology Center on Composting, Soil Management
and Plant Nutrition gave me a greater challenge and task. It inspired me more
to study the best I can especially when I know more about their attitude towards
doing research work such as hardworking, does over time work and dedication to
work to name a few that I admired it most. Punctuality is also observed in the
center such as meetings, work, appointments and other activities. It is really
wonderful experience to be working with such hardworking people.
In conducting research, I was able to know that scientific research is very
important in their daily life. They always based their decision on the technology
result. Moreover, research is conducted based from present problem of the farmers
as shown by some of there conducted researches. Funding is not also a problem
for them such that all resources are available. It is a great experience in conducting
research with them.
On the other hand, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people
of Kochi and the Center who in one way or the other made my stay and training
a successful one. Hontoo ni, Doomo Arigatoo Gozaimashita. All of these will be
cherished forever.
Finally, with these thoughts in mind, Kochi, Japan is indeed a wonderful and
peaceful place to live in.
